Y Daily post yn gwirioni fel pawb arall

Dyma lle dwi'n diflasu gyda'r holl sylw disylwedd a di-fudd i fuddugoliaeth y tîm rygbi ddydd Sadwrn diwethaf, ac o'm cwmpas mae 'na chwyldro'n digwydd. Wrth arllwys fy nghalon a'm gofid iddo dyma DML yn troi ata i a gofyn a oeddwn wedi gweld y Daily post. Nawr i mi y Daily post yw'r papur sy'n euog o roi enw da i'r Western mail. Pwy fusai'n meddwl y buasai hyn yn ymddangos ar dudalen flaen y rhecsyn hwnnw felly?:
Grand Slam celebrations continued across North Wales last night as rugby fever swept the region.
Wel, yr ateb onest yw nid fi! Wrth ddarllen fersiwn ar-lein y Daily post mae'n amlwg fod 'na ddaeargryn tawel wedi digwydd. Gyda stori am barti priodas yn Llanelwy lle roedd pawb yn gwylio'r gêm yn cael y lle blaen. Rwyf fi'n fodlon cyfaddef fod rhyw dda yn dod mas o'r holl heip os yw hynny'n gwneud y Daily post a'r Western mail wirioni am yr un peth yn gywir.
"When we set the wedding date two years ago we had an idea that there might be a Six Nations fixture but no idea it would be Wales and they would be winning the Grand Slam," said Siân last night.

"Gareth's a rugby player himself and there was no way we wanted to miss it as all our friends and family are big fans too. So he brought his telly in from home.

"We had the TV on mute but then as the game got going everybody started to get more excited.

"Oriel House were great and delayed the desserts as everyone crowded round to watch.

"It wouldn't have spoiled the wedding but we did um and ah over what would happen if they lost," said the 23-year-old Old Colwyn nursery nurse.

"The fact they won was brilliant and made the day more special."

After the final whistle the jubilant couple cut their cake and Siân's dad presented a flag to the single Irish guest at the wedding.
